What We Believe

We believe in God the Father...

We believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ the Son suffered in our place...
We believe that Jesus Christ the Son suffered in our place on the cross, that He died but rose again, that He now sits at the Father’s right hand until He returns to judge all men at the last day.
We believe in the Holy Scriptures...
We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
We believe that by the grace of God...
We believe that by the grace of God every person has the ability and responsibility to choose between right and wrong, and that those who repent of their sin and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are justified by faith.
We believe that God not only counts the believer as righteous...
We believe that God not only counts the believer as righteous, but that He makes him righteous, freeing him of sin’s dominion at conversion, purifying his heart by faith and perfecting him in love at entire sanctification, and providing for his growth in grace at every stage of his spiritual life, enabling him through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life.

Who We Are

In essential beliefs we have unity.
There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…Eph. 4:4-6

In non-essential beliefs we have liberty.
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls… So then each of us will give an account of himself to God… So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Romans 14:1,4,12,22

In all our beliefs we show charity.
…If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains, but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.1 Cor. 13:2(Ph)
